WE REALLY WANT FOR THE BEST FOR THE STUDENTS, BOTH IN THEIR CURRICULUM AND IN THEIR FACILITY. THERE'S NO ROOM IN THIS COUNTY FOR ANIMOSITY, BITTERNESS, SUSPICION, ILL WILL, AND UNKIND WORDS AMONG THESE THREE GROUPS. THE TAXPAYERS PROVIDE MOST OF THE FUNDS. THE SUPERVISORS ALLOCATE THOSE FUNDS TO THE SCHOOL SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL BOARD AND THE ADMINISTRATION TO DO THEIR JOBS, TAKE CARE OF THE STUDENTS, TAKE CARE OF THE BUILDINGS, AND PROVIDE A SAFE, HEALTHY AND QUALITY EDUCATION TO OUR STUDENTS. LET US PUT THIS PROBLEM BEHIND US, PLEASE. ONE MORE THING I THOUGHT OF A FEW MINUTES AGO. I'M A VETERAN. THREE YEARS IN THE US ARMY. WHILE IN THE ARMY I QUALIFIED ON THE M1 AND THE M14 RIFLES, A QUALIFIED EXPERT ON THE 45 CALIBER SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL, THE M60 MACHINE GUN, THE 105 MILLIMETER AND [INAUDIBLE] ROCKETS FIRED FROM MY AIRPLANE. ONE MORE ITEM, AND THIS IS ON A NATIONAL LEVEL. IN MAY, JUST LAST MARCH. THERE WERE 239,416 KNOWN ILLEGAL CROSSINGS AT OUR SOUTHERN BORDER. MAKING IT THE 15TH STRAIGHT MONTHS OF ONE OF THE HIGHEST THIS REPRESENTS A 32% INCREASE FROM 2021 AND A 900% INCREASE FROM 2020. AND AS MORE THAN 2 MILLION INVADERS. IN 15 MONTHS. NOW AS THIS HISTORIC CRISIS WORSENS AND SOME 60 OR SO DIED YESTERDAY IN SAN ANTONIO.
